Dr. Franklyn Aguebor, also known as Dr. A, was born in Benin City, Nigeria, but raised primarily in Atlanta, Georgia before moving to New York. He has dedicated the past 10 years of his career to dentistry; from his undergraduate studies in biological sciences, dental school, and formal training in residency to practicing as a board-certified dentist in Atlanta, Georgia, and now, New York City. He says it has been the best years of his life. “Becoming a Dentist has truly been one of my greatest accomplishments because I can change people’s lives by giving them the perfect smile they’ve always wanted.” Before opening this office, he worked in private practice offices in Atlanta, Georgia, and New York City.

Amongst a number of procedures he performs in his office, he loves a comprehensive exam. “It is the greatest opportunity to educate my patients and explain to them that here at Smile Design Dental Studio, our focus is not only on the mouth but the connection it has with the entire body.” He strives to make his patients completely knowledgeable about improving their dental health and get them on the road to complete oral and systemic health.

Favorite Hobbies
Dr. Aguebor is very big on traveling. He has done plenty of traveling around the United States and has gone on several international adventures as well. One of his favorite journeys was a dental mission trip to the Dominican Republic, which he says was a life-changing experience. In addition, he loves health and wellness, so he frequently goes to the gym. Above those two hobbies, he loves visiting and spending time with his family.
